Fall has finally arrived.. & the weather is starting to change for the cooler (hmm think I've mentioned this like many many times..). Esp the mornings and nights, can't walk around w/o my jacket on. Can't wait for the foliage to all turn crimson red and orange though. Heard New England's the best place to be during autumn.. Like a giant paintbrush moving across the region, the color starts in northern Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont then sweeps south through Massachusetts, right down to Connecticut and Rhode Island.

Just came back from a drive to Rye Beach. Wanted to get some drinks from the liqour stall, to our disgust they've closed for the day already.

The drive to the Beach was awesome though.. Long winding and quiet road + the Chinese songs (the rare few, but surprisingly nice.. haha) from JX's iPod + star-lit sky = CHIO. 原本相信上海风，但结果因为太冷了，有没有什么准备，下车不到十分钟，我们就忍不住跑回车子里。Planning to drive there again tml night (hopefully) & this time round be better prepared for the cold winds..

Haha finally can 光明正大的write this blog. Hahaha so 辛苦咯... Anyway yday was our dear Melis's 23rd Bdae.. (haha welcome onboard, AUNTIE!!) The day started with us trying to pretend we've forgotten abt it (which she say was a lousy stunt..haha), in shock to realise px made her a brownie cake for her during lunch.. (so sweeeeet..) Hmmm... The supposedly "BIG" surprise was kept for the night when JX n I managed to ask her to get out of the hse, whilst the rest went to prepare for the grand finale in a park down in Downtown Portsmouth.

Beautiful setting.

Great ambience.

Flawless plan.

But,

#1: It was freaking coooold.. (Hhahaha.. esp for those who were waiting there for us to turn up..)

#2: She overheard our conversation in the hse a few NUMEROUS times. Who's the culprit???

#3: She spotted car number 229-8876 in the park carpark!!! -_-"

#4: Wierd arrangement of ppl in the park (hahaha..) with some SM n JH's striking coats being the obvious recognition factor.

Okay so the "surprise" ended a little too early.. but still, it was memorable I hope.. afterall, it wasn't held at home.. ^^ (Kudos to JX for his ingenious idea of holding it at the park by the jetty)

Keep getting complaints for the lack of updates.. haha been really lazy, plus dunno what to write too.

Went to Gloucester, Massachusetts on Saturday for a whale watching trip. Went on board Miss Cape Ann into the seas.. into the Atlantic Ocean i think.. Great weather + saw many big big whales = a great experience. Photos are up here. Waiting for the many other pics from the rest. Will upload them again.

Cooked corn + pork soup and cod fish today with Mr Wrong. Heh quite proud of myself.. 原来我也会煮饭的哦！

Arghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was typing a post halfway when the fire alarm in our hse started screeeeching. Y? Cos there's so much smoke from all the cooking & the ceiling is so low.. Din know how to silence it, so we decided to switch off all the electricity supply, but to no avail. Yep n so I lost my entry and the alarm is still ringing. *Double Pukes* I went out in an attempt to find some neighbours so I could ask them how to deactivate the alarm to realise that no one's around (or at least they all dun have lights on). Almost froze to death.. it's a freaking 16°C now (I suspect it's much lower cos it's soooo coooold) and I was only in my skimpy CURL shirt and FBT shorts. Thank goodness Deb came over and turned it off for us.. hmmm I thot they weren't in.. haha.

Too lazy to re-type everything, but in short, life's starting to get real BORING. Perhaps also this is when the problem comes in, when u know there are ppl reading what is written, there's a limit to what I can bring myself to pen down. Plus somehow I feel that I'm beginning to feel a lil moody these days.. Hmmm hopefully this is caused by the hormonal changes.. Work's no better too, feel like I'm an asst to M (when she's actually an intern only..). Tml got to continue with cleaning the BS cabinet.. tell me abt it.. Got to be choked in SporKlenz and IPA again. ARGH can't wait to start some real work, but got to build up my knowledge base first.. My job function is so much like a Chem Engineer, so got to learn all about bioreactors and stuff myself from scratch. B.O.R.E.D.

Off to dinner.. Curry chicken n Nasi Lemak (i think..) YUM YUM

So much for the hype of gg to NYC or Canada this long Labour Day wkend, we ended up gg for a hike at the White Mountains. We took the Glen's trail and proceeded on for a 6.5hrs climb. Even right now as i'm typing in this entry, my body's aching. Haha.. thank God there's no work today! This climb is relatively easier than Mt K, but STILL i have problems coming down. Argh.


The view up there is breath-taking though, as of any other mountains would i guess.. haha.. There's a number of other trails and mountains along the whole stretch and think the rest of them are aiming to climb them all.. -_-"

On a sidenote, i feel so lazy to do anything cos I'm feeling nua all over.. ahahahaha and tah-dah this is the end result:
